If I could count the times I've kissed the straw of your diet coke and told you that I loved you, you'd know how much I loved you by now. But instead of admitting the truth, I kiss the straw of your diet coke and tell myself someday.
If I could count the times you asked to drink my tea and wished you'd ordered tea instead, you'd have ordered tea by now. But instead, you drink your diet Coke and never order tea.
If I could count the times she bought you tea, and you gladly accepted with a smile. She'd own your smile by now. But instead, she sneaks glances at you, hoping to find that smile again in the next can of tea she buys you.
If I could count the times you became a tea lover, we'd be in love by now. But instead, you only accepted her tea and abandoned your diet coke.
